Project 1: What if a Sportsbook Offered Odds on Trading Card Games?
(Multi-part; ongoing)
I started this project by asking myself a simple question: “What if a sportsbook placed betting prices on the outcome of trading card game events like they do for professional sports events?”
Is such a thing possible? What would it take? How would the systems of probability and pricing models work?
What would the long term profitability of such a venture be?
I explore those questions, and more, in this project.

Project 2: Modelling Sports Betting Prices in Excel
(One part; complete)
I created an Excel calculator to model the moneyline betting prices, handle, bet liability, and gross gaming revenue (GGR) given two competitors with given win probabilities and a given number of matches between them.

Project 3: Nation Bias Toward Pokémon Deck Strategies and Cards
(One part; pending)
In this project, I investigate the 2024 Pokémon Trading Card Game World Championship and the players from around the world that participated in the event.
The countries that each player comes from have their own biases toward certain strategies (decks) and the use of certain cards, whether or not they realize it.
I visualize the deck and card usage of each country.
